SGF Spa "the pocket multinational company": a different way to face the crisis

On Wednesday the 20th of May, in the main offices of Padua Confindustria, Mr. Franco, Luciano and Antonio Cauzzo, owners of SGF Spa, gave a lecture on the internationalization strategies they are adopting in this period of global crisis.
While lots of companies are exiting the market, Sgf is increasing its efforts in looking for new growth opportunities and investing in them.
The strategy is based on the export of its products, its creativity, its business methods, its culture in the big new markets that represent the future of the economic rise: India, Middle East, North Africa.
The opening of a new production unit in Dubai (and shortly in India too) doesn't means delocalization, but sinergy: the main production remains the Italian one, but the direct presence in that markets now make them closer and so much more reachable, even for parts of them that, for time and costs reasons, where too far before.
At the lecture took part also Mr. Enrico Toffano (Representative of Entrepreneurs’ of Padua), Mr. Paolo Gubitta (Economist - Padua University), Miss. Angela Pagani (Director of "Stile Italiano" magazine), Miss. Monica Balbinot (Culture Councilor for Padua Municipality); there were also giournalists for "Il Mattino di Padova", Panorama, Sole24Ore, television troupe for TeleChiara and Telepadova, some Sgf employees and the partners in company of SGF Wood srl and SGF Special Wood srl.
